Summer Intern
Current- Works in wet laboratory environment to create and test formulations of electrolyte solutions to optimize conductivity through use of machine learning- Performs analytic tests of the formulations to record density, conductivity, water content, heat resistance, and viscosity- Contributed to scaling production of electrolyte from 16kg lab batch to 400kg industrial scale, meeting rigorous specifications for water content, acidity, and trace metals.- Assisted in construction and preparation of the automated process by connecting pipes, valves, and tanks while performing pressure tests and flow tests for each main line- Helps regulate flow of materials within the automated process through computer software ran on main panel of the system- Shadows client interactions and tasked with note keeping for major projects
