- With this position being in the SJC Airport, we encounter a lot of different type of clientele. We are trained in high volume and stressful situation. While bartending, I am able to multitask by assisting with menu options, ideas, crafting and/or building food and beverage options for those that might have allergies or other preferences. Generally, ensuring the overall satisfaction of the guest during their time in the terminal. As Lead, I would do weekly orders of food and beverage to fit the needs of the high traffic terminal. I would also cover breaks and was trained in the Kitchen and as a Barback. No good leader forgets their bases.

Concept Manager/Admin/HR:- Quickly promoted from a small position with the company, I soon became a manager of several concepts (restaurants are considered concepts within the airport). The responsibilities focused on sales and aiming for set goals, holding our staff accountable to all company and airport policies and procedures, ensuring to compliance of airport safety regulations of prohibited items in all standard concepts. Orders of goods and balancing a Profit and Loss system to ensure a balance between orders and items purchased. I also assisted with the companies onboarding of new hires, daily operations of banking and deposits, administration between the company as well as the SJC airport admin team, setting up background checks and badging appointments with the airport badging office, managing over 100 staff members and many other task which included but not limited to: uniforms, maintenance and repairs, operations with 3rd parties and other license partners of each concept’s brand. Guest Service Manager:- This position was to work with our guest and hear what they have to say about how we were doing as a company. I was responsible for updating staff records, Guest surveys and Mystery Shops, keeping other managers updated with volume of service and standards. I organized, set up and delivered the trainings for each new and existing team to ensure the complexity of the G.U.E.S.T. service training that the company provided. I worked close with the director of the program to ensure a overall satisfaction of all guest at any of our SJC concepts. Personally, I created a reward system for each concept and one overall individual who would meet and exceed guest overall expectations while visiting our SJC concepts.
