Responsible for creating standards and tracking efficiency rates for current production parts through time studies and using MOST to determine manpower needed for future production lines. Work alongside the quality, manufacturing, and packaging engineers to create and routinely update PFMEA forms for all future and current production lines. Create SOP’s for both current and future lines along with creating production standards and working alongside the Production Supervisor to ensure the workforce is trained on the SOP’s created. Responsible for setting up production lines to be the most efficient as well as meet 5S standards and getting workforce trained on new production lines. Project manager for move into new facility and in charge of new equipment need, setting up the floor, amount of manpower needed for move as well as working alongside Production Supervisor and Production Manager to determine how to transition into new facility and still continue production. Also work with engineers at other manufacturing facilities within Calsonic on projects pertaining to creating a more efficient work floor.

Production Supervisor over 3 shifts; responsible for up to 70 union and temporary employees during the peak season. Responsible for determining the staffing ratios needed for each shift based on the weekly production needs and also responsible for the payroll for these employees. Created Excel spreadsheet and database in order to track the efficiency of production and to determine a time frame for the completion of new products as well as current products in order to develop shipping dates to the consumers. Additional responsibilities include training and development of new employees, training of current machine operators, creating new benchmarks for production, implementing cost savings for all of the production lines
