I'm the Owner and Executive Producer for Omni Media/Sports Producers which produces TV content like PRESS PLAY Sports Talk Show, the Prep Zone Football/Basketball series on KPLR channel 11, TEA TALK with Dr. G, SHEER STYLE, and so much more. Each week, we produce content for social media platforms, KPLR 11 and KDNL ABC30.We also focus on getting student-athletes more exposure among college scouts so that they can get scholarship offers. We partner with Microsoft to produce a 6-week, workshop called, The Road to College Recruiting. It focuses on getting student-athletes prepared for scholarship offers. From NCAA requirements (GPA/ACT-SAT scores), social media effect, FAFSA, preparing for the college experience to getting a coaches' perspective and being ready on National Signing Day, we will cover it all. We will take 30 student-athletes and their parents, through this workshop. Why, you ask? Because the statistics show that a major drop off in the number of student-athletes who were ready and able to accept their scholarship offers. And when these opportunities pass them by, everyone starts to point fingers at the coaches, the school, the counselors, the parents and the student-athlete because the NCAA requirements were not met. We hope to educate the parents and the student-athletes so that we can make a difference here in St. Louis as it relates to getting our youth into colleges and off the streets.
