Founded program to instill values in youth through educational and basketball pursuits, serving 300+ students annually.🔸 Developed Board of Directors and Advisory Board to support growth of program: started with 15 students in 1 location and 0 staff; grew to 300+ students across 3 locations with 2 coordinators and a team of 20 volunteers.🔸 Implemented fundraising strategy to successfully raise $360k budget annually; developed growth strategy and recruited volunteer coaches, mentors, and teachers to assist student athletes.🔸 Partnered with schools, families, and community organizations to grow support for the students and create a network of opportunities to build positive futures.

Provided home-based therapeutic support to a caseload of ~20 families, and led social-behavioral skills groups for youth.🔸 Implemented therapeutic objectives of the treatment plan designed to address the youth’s mental health, behavioral and emotional needs.🔸 Worked with entire family to implement focused interventions and behavioral techniques to enhance problem-solving, building skills to strengthen family, and improve ineffective patterns of interactions.🔸 Assisted family to identify and utilize community resources and develop and maintain natural supports for the youth and parent/caregiver in order to promote sustainability of treatment gains.
