The goal of my job is threat mitigation. I collect and analyze any pertinent intelligence information that relates to any threatening behavior and conduct a report and plan of action to disseminate to local, state and federal partners. I am responsible for investigating current and developing threats, domestic violent extremism, workplace violence threats, targeted school threats and special investigative projects. I proactively search open-source platforms to gather intelligence on various subjects while creating detailed intelligence reports / briefings that outline potential likelihood and impact to the community and distribute to different agencies.• Monitor open source platforms, and social media channels to search for known, emerging and potential risks.• Analyze, interprets and evaluate data and crime reports related to various investigations.• Prepare and disseminates information and intelligence bulletins to local, state and federal Law Enforcement partners.• Prepare and present statistical reports.• Research, analyze, evaluate, and correlate criminal information and intelligence• Conduct validation of sources and evaluates information derived from cooperating witnesses, assets and informants, and preparing production reviews of asset/informant/cooperating witness validation efforts.• Access local and national intelligence information databases to respond to and validate requests for information. • Track and maintain reporting of statistical and written analysis of user threats, incidents.• Develop and maintain liaisons with personnel of all ranks and positions, sworn and non-sworn.• APOST Certified(Alabama)
