• Support the development and implementation of the maintenance management system for planning and scheduling work processes at HPC.• Plan electrical and instrumentation scopes within maintenance, turnaround, and projects work processes.• Review technical tasks identified through the reliability centered maintenance process, optimize task sequencing, and support the implementation of the resulting maintenance strategies into Maximo.• Support contract development as new service requirements are identified.• Support the Projects team with estimating, plan development, and integrated scheduling.

After having our first child we decided to move back home and be closer to family. My spouse was the first one to secure employment in Edmonton. I took advantage of the time off to make our transition as smooth as possible. This also meant I was able to spend more time with my daughter!

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians.• Conduct frequent job observations to support maintenance performance.• Receive job packs and short-term schedule, assign work to qualified technicians or work groups.• Ensure work is fully understood and executed within all safety, health and environmental rules and regulations.• Responsible for the execution of the short-term schedule and the optimization decisions within it.• Coordinate the safe and effective execution of schedule break-ins.• Assist Maintenance Planner in job plan development as needed.• Assist Maintenance Scheduler with the review and endorsement of the short-term schedule to resolve any field conflicts and ensure equipment availability.• Monitor job progress and initiate the removal of barriers that impede the safe, efficient and effective execution of work.• Ensure the required execution quality and initiate the handover of the equipment to the equipment owner.• Ensure technical history is captured.• Provide the Technical department with predictive maintenance test results - vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, motor circuit analysis.

- Subject matter expert of the work selection, planning, scheduling and execution process.- Use the Risk Based Work Selection process to assign / validate justification for improvement work requests.- Communicate to the Production Day Supervisor any changes / decisions made that may impact the cost or schedule associated with work (such as break in or out of program work), for their endorsement.- Assist Production Day Supervisor to coordinate resolution of operational issues beyond the scope/responsibility of the individual shift teams.- Ensure mitigation plans are in place for any overdue critical Preventative Maintenance tasks.Daily Operation- Ensure new work notifications meet quality expectations and provide feedback as required.- Approve or reject new work notifications per practice. If break-in required ensure break-in screening and approval practice is executed, including proper notification of those impacted.- Coordinate with production to facilitate safe and efficient preparation of the equipment for maintenance execution work.- Responsible to ensure that Maintenance & Operations front line interfaces are effective to drive weekly maintenance execution with no barriers.- Advise Operations in areas of optimization, equipment requirements and others as required.Reliability and Maintenance- Work with business team & operating teams in design, delivery and effectiveness of key operations managing systems.- Actively work with the Business Unit Planning and Scheduling team to develop and optimize week one and four week work schedules and own the output.- Responsible for work order screening and prioritization for both routine and non-routine maintenance, including turnaround work orders. - Overall responsibility for ensuring quality consequence information for all risk assessments involving process unit impacts.

• Collect Work Notifications for consideration in annual program, turnaround, and out-of-program worklists.• Review work notifications to determine unmitigated risk based on corporate risk matrix, the risk reduction that can be achieved by proposed task, and the resulted mitigated risk.• Collaborate with maintenance planner and scheduler to build short- and long-term maintenance schedules.• Align maintenance activities with the production plan to minimize production impacts. • Facilitate screening of tasks from equipment maintenance Strategies. • Provide input into bad actor program.• Provide input into the sparing strategies
