My name is Andre Mackey, I am born and raised in Austin, Texas. I Graduated from McNeil High school in 2013 and Southern Arkansas university with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2017.I graduated from Thurgood Marshall school of law in 2020, in the top 5% of my class, ranked #5 in a class of over 200 students. Along the way I was able to pick up many necessary legal skills such as writing, research, and overall knowledge of the law that has helped me propser in my early legal career.Over the summer of 2018, I was able to Intern with attorney Christopher Hammon at his private practice and gain hands on experience and knowledge in multiple areas of law. I was able to assist in drafting documents for court, pleadings, and discovery. I was able to attend court and observe how the proceedings occurred and how the attorneys handled the different matters. I spent the summer of 2019 as an intern with the Williamson County DA's office. I have now been an associate attorney at Sandoval & James Lawfirm for over two years, practicing personal injury after starting as an intern there. In my time there, I have managed a pre-litigation department and settled hundreds of cases, resulting in millions of dollars in attorney's fees. I'm continuing to obtain positive results for clients while expanding my experience and knowledge as an attorney.
