Use design engineering skills to develop solutions to company and customer technical problems.Design new products with an effort to maximize customer satisfaction, product manufacturability, and company profit.Manage product agency approval projects with UL and FM.Evaluate root cause of customer returns and generate Corrective Action Reports.Manage all engineering documentation including, but not limited to, component and assembly drawings, Bill of Materials, and Engineering Change Notices.Generate 3D drawings on new and existing test and manufacturing equipment.Frequent interaction with sales to provide technical advice on potential new products. Design and Assemble prototypes to be sent to inquiring customers.Support Manufacturing when issues arise and assist with new product introduction. Provide technical support for purchasing activities and sales activities.
