As an HRD staff member at the Information Systems & Decision Laboratory, I assist in managing human resource development activities for LSIK assistants. My duties involve supporting recruitment processes, contributing to training initiatives, and helping develop HR policies that foster a productive and collaborative environment for the LSIK assistant team. This role ensures that LSIK assistants can effectively contribute to the laboratory’s teaching success.

As a laboratory assistant, I am responsible for leading practicum sessions in courses such as engineering drawing, information systems design & analysis, computer programming, and data engineering & design. My role involves managing various projects, coordinating with the Industrial Engineering Department, and ensuring the smooth execution of practicums. Thus, I am expected to contribute to the academic development of students to make them more competitive in the industry.

Developing student resources through providing channels for student interests and talents, as well as increasing the personal potential of association members, involves monitoring recruitment, training and employee relations. This also provides self-development opportunities for DOTCOM members related to data science.

During a one-month internship at the Department of Industrial Engineering, I was assigned to the spare parts storage division of PT Semen Padang. My responsibilities included conducting daily stock audits, inputting item information along with their respective locations into the warehouse application system, and reconciling discrepancies between the actual inventory and the recorded data in the system.
