The 90s in mobile telecommunications provided a great platform for me to gain engineering and technology skills that has become core to my thinking. However, it was only from 2005 when I became an entrepreneur, that I really learnt about companies and business and specifically, growing a business.From a humble start-up to being acquired, the journey helped me learn business strategy and management skills including organizational and team development as well as process and product management. My tenure as Director of Product Management and a stint in Innovation at a bank, also provided me the ability to bring both the business strategy and technical understanding together to deliver relevant products to the market and appreciate the mad difficulties of bringing products at the right time to the right market.I have a strong didactic streak, and so I help other start-up companies find their sweet spot in bringing together their product, market and business to scale their companies.Where I am today is looking at how we can help crack one of the biggest issues in ensuring quality education for masses of children who are falling behind, particularly in Math. With the current advances in AI, I believe it is now finally possible.
