CurrentDeveloping and organizing parent education workshops, leadership development and relationship building among education stakeholders (teachers, families, community organizations and support staff).Supporting the professional development of staff regarding best practices in parent engagement and implementation of OUSD family engagement standards.Conducting research on best practices for family engagement, school transformation and increased student learning in a community school environment.Supporting the creation of shared governance structures at school sites and organizing parent outreach efforts to engage them in school improvement goals.
