I oversaw the company's marketing and branding initiatives, architectural design work, and market research, managed the firm's finances, and worked as a lead carpenter for all construction projects.

In 2013, my efforts directly influenced over $10 million in residential home sales and over $2 million worth of home improvement projects.

In this mid-level planning position, I oversaw long range planning efforts, including agricultural land preservation and urban growth boundary expansions. I completed a long-overdue review of 130 outstanding rezoning applications, helped the County prosecute code violators by conducting site visits and documenting evidence, and reviewed mid- and advanced-level permit applications and environmental reviews.

My primary role in this entry-level position was to organize the County's effort to write a new Comprehensive Plan. In addition, I processed a variety of land use permits, conducted environmental reviews, held public meetings with citizens and school groups, investigated potential code violations, developed a new file organization system, provided information to customers in person and over the phone, and assigned new street addresses and road names using Global Positioning System technology.
