Industrial Maintenance based on Reliability, Process Safety and, Asset Integrity.

I am responsible for the sealth and safety of all personnel, assets, and the environment for ExxonMobil Saxi Batuque operations in Angola.The Saxi & Batuque operations include Subsea completions for both Saxi and Batuque Fields, FPSO with (oil saparation and treatment; gas dehyration, compresion, and injection; and Water Injection process); and the onshore support office with Management, Procurement & Logistics, Engineering.With a workforce of 95 people, Saxi and Batuque are mature mature oil Fields With a total Production of 55 kboe/d.

• I now work OPS (SBM), an O&M service provider, as a Commercial & Business Development Manager; • I develop new business for the group and expand business portfolio in Angola;• I use my wide network of former colleagues who now led the industry to present business proposal;• I lead Tendering activities through execution for new FPSOs;• I manage existing FPSO contracts, negotiating (incentive schemes, bonuses, prices, rates, etc.) and Projects Management Companies subcontractor contracts;• I Strategize, develop business approaches the fit market realities and for long term growth;• Liaise with NOC, Clients, Subcontractors, and Partners to advance business strategy;

As Operations Management Engineer at Shell Global Solutions-Operational Excellence Group, I help operating assets in Europe, Middle East, & Africa improve their performance and achieve their goals. I led Audits and Reviews on both Projects and existing plant, covering operations life cycle to ensure compliance with Shell work processes.I was OR (Operations Readiness) Lead in projects like Bio-Sludge Treatment Plant for the GTL Plant in Qatar, and DONG Oil Stabilization terminal & Gas Processing Plant in Denmark. I also led a Pre Start-up Review for Clipper PLQ in UK continental shelf.

Statoil hired me as Principal Engineer Operations to primarily to develop a process that governs operations participation in projects from the early phases; I develop a draft companywide Operations Assurance process, which is now used as the standard process in the StatoilI also develop and improve work processes, procedures, and acted as Verification Leader on operating assets and all phases of project life cycle. In 2011 I was promoted to Project Manager Operations and lead operations team in UHPH (Utsira High Power Hub) project in Norway; Shtokman (FSU) project in Russia, West Qruna in Iraq, Sheringham Shoal in UK, and Etzel gas storage in Germany. I participated as process & operations advisor in the Peregrino FPSO in Brazil, & Gjoea in Norway projects for CSU (commissioning & start-up).

My role was to lead a group of 5 Reliability Engineers to manage a Bad & Worst Actors Program for the entire Chevron operations in the Golf of Mexico.We identified systemically failing equipment, conducted RCFA, ran a RCM identify and developed a mitigation plan.

As Surface Maintenance Auditor in the Operational Excellence Group, I coordinated a network of maintenance SMEs in the different Business Units throughout Chevron North America to develop, Deployed and audit compliance with standardized maintenance and reliability work processes & performance results; We deployed specific maintenance & reliability tools (standardize CMMS, RCA, FMEA, RCM, ROI, RBD, Bad Actor program, and RAM) to achieve the goal. The main Maintenance Work Processes were CMMS & RCM: Work Management (scoping, planning, prioritizing, and scheduling)Criticality Analysis (define the criticality of all major equipment on plant)FMEA (define the way and manner the critical equipment fail and their impact on HSSE, production, and assets ;)Proactive Maintenance Program (as result of FMEA study, define the F-curve of each critical equipment and develop predictive maintenance tasks that would prevent unplanned failures)RCFA & Bad Actor Program were also essential RCA & bad actor program is fundamental in helping us learn the actual equipment performance and feedback the lessons learned to improve the preventive & predictive maintenance program)

I was responsible for the health and safety of 185 people working on the Drilling & Production platform, Gas Processing Plant, the LPG FPSO, and LQ platform. The gas processing plant has a design capacity of 600M scf/d of feed gas; 500M scf/D natural gas injection capacity; and 67K Bbl. /D of LPG. The Integrated Drilling & Production platform had continuous SIMOPS with two Jack-up Rigs; The FPSO had a de-propanizer plant that produced Butane for the local market.Please note: I m sorry, this is for the Sanha Condensates Area Manager positions and what I put on Sanha is what I did for Malongo Area.

Lima & Papa fields with 2 O&G processing plants, 9 wellhead platforms with 8 to 12 wells each, helped mature my managerial skillsProducing 90K bbl/d of oil, 75M scf/d formation gas plus 55M scf/d of G/L, and 60K bbl/d of water injection, The field had matured water flood hence, H2S at ~13K PPM60% of produced water was discharged overboard at 25PPM

The field is geographically big, matured, complex, & logistical intensive. As a Supervisor of such a field, I learn to plan, schedule and manage logistics.The daily production rate was 19K bbl/d. Requires enormous resource base to operate a low productive field.The field had PCPs, ESP and, intermittent G/L wells. Mature, relatively shallow reservoir with an average of 1500 Feet deep, 300 psi, and 15000 PPM H2S added complexity, Logistics coordination, managing ~110 employees, & $30MM OpEx Budget

Aarea Supervisor of 2 PDQs (production, Drilling & Quarters) Fully automated with a PLC based control systems; continuous SimOps on HPHT wells. The Rigs were tender Assists. Simultaneous operations were the biggest challenge in this field The wells were completed without G/L mandrills so Coil Tubing & N2 was used for Scale, and wellbore skin treatment, unloading stimulation fluids, etc.

As a field Foreman, I was responsible for optimum production rates, Rig moves preparations, well preparations for services (stimulation, logging, G/L optimization, W/L, etc.) pigging, well testing, PVT monitoring, fluid sampling, etc.For many stimulation jobs involved in using HPHT Plunger and Piston pumps to displace tubing volumes, chemical squeezes, acidizing, near wellbore cleaning, etc.During this period, we were living on a FSO. Therefore, I was involved in many marine and mooring activities.

I joined Chevron just after finishing my technical training in Drilling & Production. I began as assistant W/L operator, but soon revealed my technical aptitude, kinship to learn, and overall leadership potential. My job was to assemble the tool string and attach a variety of tools (running & pulling, fishing tools, setting subservice safety valves, G/L, etc.) rig up the lubricator, and open and operate the well. I worked in variety of jobs (well services, drilling rigs, well operations). As Field Operator & Field Forman, I always spent time with completion engineer during design and moved to on Rig during well completion. It was required due to G/L design & Operations require a good understanding of completion. I continued to receive targeted training both technical and leadership.
