Duties as a Crude Shift Foreman include but not limited to:Leading a crew of four to five Field Operators and a DCS Console Operator to maintain safe operations of six different units. Develop and train a new operators on basic operating skills as well as providing guidance and strategies for more experienced operators on how to effectively and efficiently run the units. Ensuring that all production targets are met and no environmental permit limits are exceeded. Managed equipment preparation for Maintenance work utilizing safe decon and LOTO systems.Additional roles worked on a temporary basis:Operations Shift Lead: Lead foreman on crew shift, leading Area Foreman and operations personnel. Providing leadership and guidance for the shift crew so operations runs safely and meets all production goals and staying within environmental permitting limits for the whole plant.Operations Maintenance Coordinator: Managed and planned weekly maintenance which included fixed equipment, rotating equipment, instrumentation, and electrical equipment using SAP program. Planned TAR projects for single units as well as whole plant shutdowns.
