Manage the Transport & Telephony team in their day-to-day administration and operation of internal and external telephony and transmission infrastructure systems, advise Senior Executives and managing the day-to-day Infrastructure operations and will oversee the core areas in Transport & Telephony.

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Transport & Telephony network and infrastructure, including its switching and signaling components.Provide project implementation support in relation to any upgrades or implementation related to the Transport & Telephony infrastructure.Utilize existing systems to provide adequate monitoring and auditing of network systems, traffic and adjuncts for performance, errors, alarms and back-ups to ensure efficient use of voice network resources.Work with the various Network Support teams in order to diagnose and rectify various network related faults.Liaise with technicians from affiliate companies for any required troubleshooting of telecommunication circuits.Develop Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for troubleshooting and facility modifications and upgrades.Contribute to the team’s handling and compilation of all information necessary for accurate database record keeping, and maintain necessary documentation in relation to the Transport & Telephony network and infrastructure.
