Serves as the Command Sergeant Major/Senior Executive Advisor for United States Army Garrison Fort George G. Meade, the second largest installation by population in Installation Management Command (IMCOM) portfolio. Provides support services, security, and quality of life for a customer base of 63,000 joint military and civilian personnel living and working on the installation. Advises the Base Commander of all matters pertaining to utilization, morale, welfare, professional development, discipline, and training of the garrison work force. Ensures the well-being of 63,000 joint military personnel and civilian workforce by supporting the appropriate health protection condition for the base when implementing COVID process and procedures to ensure the safety of all on the base.

Served as Battalion Command Sergeant Major/Senior Executive Advisor for the 442d Signal Battalion, conducting Professional Military Education’s (PME) training and education to 2,200 Signal Corps Officers, Warrant Officers, and Noncommissioned Officers (NCOs) annually. Directed planning, administrative, sustainment, training, readiness, and fiscal management functions supporting the Signal School. Provided support for the health, welfare, and morale of the organization. Oversaw the planning, coordination, and execution several unit projects and social functions. Directly responsible for the well-being, leader development, training, performance, discipline, morale, combat readiness, and administrative personnel actions of 275 Soldiers and Army Civilians. Served as mentor to newly appointed First Sergeants to the Battalion. Served as the Battalion Operations Senior Enlisted Advisor/Satellite Microwave Operations Chief for a hybrid strategic/tactical Signal Battalion assigned to U.S. Southern Command providing strategic support to U.S. Southern Command Headquarters (USSOUTHCOM HQ), tactical communications support to U.S. Army South and Commanding General’s Communication Team support to USSOUTHCOM HQ, Army South, Army North, Army Central, Army Cyber, SMDC, and SDDC. Prepared Operational Task Orders (OPORDS) to ensure mission requirements were established. Planned and coordinated all Battalion operations to include garrison operations, real-world mission, and field training exercises.

Served as First Sergeant/Senior Enlisted Advisor of a Headquarters and Headquarters Company in direct support of a Hybrid Theater Signal Brigade that enables Army Service Component Command’s (ASCC) mission command and full spectrum operation while providing both expeditionary and strategic Command, Control, Communication, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) across the Pacific Theater Area of Operation. Supervised and synchronized the daily operations and activities of the entire company. Directly responsible for the well-being, leader development, training, performance, discipline, morale, combat readiness, and administrative personnel actions of 183 Soldiers and Army Civilians. Ensured reliable IT services and communications capabilities for six General Officers and one Senior Executive Service Civilian. Created administrative trackers which improved efficiency of company operations, increasing timeliness of admin action submissions. Implemented creative solutions to improve organization medical readiness, by creating specific deficiency category charts and coordinating bi-weekly status meetings. Managed Soldier support programs: implemented process and procedures to ensure Human Resource and Training activities were executed properly. Overall responsible for the daily supervision of organization’s Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Technical Control Facility operations. Provided direct hands-on training and guidance to all COMSEC personnel in preparation for annual Communications Security Logistic Activity (CSLA) audit. Directed the organization in stabilizing the facility during seven catastrophic site power failure events; efficiently restored over 3,500 critical links and circuits. Oversaw the unit’s Human Resources section; section responsible for maintaining personnel records and processing personnel actions for Soldiers. Provided direct guidance for managing/monitoring personnel evaluations, processes for separations, retirements, bar to enlistments, flagging actions, and awards. Served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor foe the Chief information Officer/Assistant Chief of Staff G-6, US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) and Director. Responsible for the health, welfare, professional development, discipline, guidance, and mentorship for 43 service members. Oversaw the installation team projects. Team installed and upgraded 12 small and medium helpdesk centers. Install team was responsible for ordering, shipping, receiving and installation communication equipment at each location valued at $22M.

Served as the Direct Signal Support Team Transmission Chief/Supervisor in a forward deployed Signal Company; US Central Command, US Forces-Afghanistan, Combined Security Transition, Command-Afghanistan, International Security Assistance Force, Combined joint Special Operation Task Force-Afghanistan, and Region Command South and Coalition Forces. Supervised and synchronized the daily operations and activities of 24 Soldiers and contractors assigned to the DSST. Directly ensured the safety, training, and morale of team members. Served as the Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR), overseeing contract execution. Supervised the upgrade of four critical satellite link cutovers, 12 tech control facility installations, two Forward Operating Base (FOB) satellite link activations, and 22 new circuit activations. Oversaw communications commercialization of nine modernization projects within the Kandahar Tech Control Facility; ensuring compliance with DoD and DISA mandated security guidelines were met. Developed continuity Tech Control Facility standard operation procedures to streamline procedures, establish standards and increase operational efficiencies. Accounted for Communication equipment, Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) and government equipment properly. Coordinated maintenance and serviceability of communications and power generation equipment, ensuring facilities maintained its mission capability.

Served as the senior project lead for Defense Information System Agency Network Services department, providing net-centric solutions for DoD’s warfighting needs. Managed a 7-member team’s day to day operation by coordinating and establishing priorities for the complete life-cycle management of projects. Oversaw installation and telecommunication circuit activations carrying voice, data, and video services valued at over $30M. Managed site surveys, and Defense Information System Network (DISN) node installations and performed quality assurance inspections. Developed and managed project plans and schedules for multiple DISA projects enabling accurate tracking and visibility by management. Managed deployment of over $25 million dollars in equipment for customer funded projects, ensuring equipment was procured, shipped, received, inventoried, and installed on time at each location.

Served as the Direct Signal Support Team Supervisor in a forward deployed Signal detachment providing communications support for Multi-National Corp-Iraq (MNC-I) and Basrah Air Base. Supervised and synchronized the daily operations and activities of 23 Soldiers and contractors assigned to the DSST. Served as the Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR), overseeing contract execution. Responsible for the direction operations, maintenance and sustainment of strategic communications systems and network assets in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Responsible for the health, welfare, training, and combat readiness of 21 Soldiers, civilians, and contractors.
