Project engineer in R&D Department - Extremities:- Shoulder and elbow endoprosthesis design and product development (concept, design, prototyping and development of implants and instruments)- Project management with marketing, quality and operations to meet goals and deadlines (from concept to finaldesign according to ISO/ASTM and GD&T std)- 3D modeling and detailed drawings according to ISO and GD&T standards, tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure design verification. Use of PLM software to manage all the models and documents of the product.- Product development for Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to ensure quality, costs and efficiency- Definition of product testing protocols for validation of medical devices according to ISO/ASTM standards and FDA guidelines.- Ability to work in team and participate on cross-functional project teams (close collaboration with all the department involved in the project: marketing, regulatory, quality, industrialization)- Proactivity in order to lead R&D projects from the marketing inputs until the completion of the design including the issue of the documentation, within the agreed time (via meetings or status reports).

Production Engineer: product industralisation of medical devices for orthopedics and traumatology.- New product development and improvement of existing products (orthopedic endoprosthesis and surgical instruments)- Management of the workshop (creation, compilation and management of the orders via ERP software - intesi factory)- Production planning and process optimization (3 plants)- Realization of 3D models of the product and design of the production equipments(Solidworks/Inventor)- Cutting tools choice, toolpath generation via CAD/CAM (hypermill), NC program writing and simulation via specific software (VERICUT - 5-axis machining centers)- Close collaboration with R&D e Quality control department

Collaboration (for master’s thesis) for the creation, engineering and construction of a prosthetic knee:- Concept and design CAD 3D (Solidworks)- Dynamic simulations of walking (SimWise4D)- Creation, assembly and evaluation of the final product (gait analysis)
