I am a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist with over 11 years’ experience in the field of mental health and autism. I am passionate about working with people and helping them reach their full potential. I actively develop my skills through ongoing training to ensure that the clients I work with receive the best possible therapeutic inventions, using up to date research and clinical methods. I am an ADI-R and ADOS assessor and work in an MDT to complete diagnostic assessments and related therapeutic intervention. I developed expertise in mental health and autism whilst working in NHS Community Mental Health Teams and in education, supporting adults and young people in 1:1 and group settings, who have experienced complex trauma. In my practice, I use a variety of techniques including mindfulness, motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Sensory Integration (SI), amongst others.
