I am a Mechanical Engineer who's currently working for Resen Waves, a Wave Energy company based in Copenhagen, and also collaborating at the same time with Waterwall Turbines Inc., a Candian tidal energy company based in Vancouver, on different projects.I’ve always been very interested in the energy production, as I believe that it is one of the biggest issues of our society, which is why, after finishing my BSc in Energy Engineering, I decided to focus my studies on Renewable Energy and, in particular, on Marine Energy (including both Tidal and Wave Energy), also because of its big possibility of development (as it is still relatively young) and the strong relationship that I have with the sea. My main areas of focus and expertise are:- 2D and 3D CAD: I am proficient with AutoCAD, Inventor and Solidworks and also have some experience with Rhinoceros3D and SolidEdge.- DESIGN of MECHANICAL PARTS: including strength, load resistance and shape, in order to be included in a bigger assembly.- DATA GATHERING and ANALYSIS: I have experience working with ADCPs, Current Profilers, Wave Gauges, Load Gauges, Wave Tank and Sonars. I do most of the data analysis with Matlab- RESOURCE EVALUATION for MARINE RENEWABLE ENERGY. I have experience using Delft3D for wave energy resource and have the background knowledge needed for Tidal Energy.Lastly, briefly about my person, I like challenges, I’m a very fast learner and I adapt fast to new situations, environments and problems. I also am a good problem solver, a very curious person and I speak fluently three languages (Italian, English and Spanish).
