I provide research and consultancy services to the energy industry, especially regarding renewable power system, energy efficiency and innovative energy applications, as well as in the area of acoustics particularly of wind energy plants.Andrea Bartolazzi – holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rome, but studied also at the Technical University of Munich (Elektrotechnik department). He is a chartered engineer, chartered acoustician and certified EGE (energy management expert). His principal scientific interests are in the sector of renewable energies, wind energy acoustics, wind energy assessment, solar energy, energy efficiency and economics of sustainability.During his professional career he worked in different countries (Italy, Germany). Worked for United Technologies, 1994-1999 on green technologies in electric fan development, fan acoustic improvement, and car emission reduction in which field he is author of three patents. Later worked in a management consulting firm, Accenture, from 1999-2001. From 2001 until 2004 worked in wind and solar energy development. In 2004 co-founded Studio Rinnovabili, an independent consultant firm for renewables in which he is a partner. In 2005 wrote for Hoepli, Italy's most important technical publisher, a book on renewable energy systems "Le Energie Rinnovabili" adopted as textbook for masters in renewable energy and selling more than 7000 copies.
