Produced microfluidic chips using 3D Bioprinting to produce microgels with 20 um diameter. Designed structures using TSIM CAD software to bioprint composite hydrogels with cells and additionally printed with a microgel based bioink.

Identified leaf species for decellularization and potential as leaf-derived vascular scaffolds for treatment of full-thickness burns. Evaluated several leaf types for decellularization ability, perfusable vascular network morphology, vascular density, and xylem diameters.

Utilized electrospinning to produce dextran-based nanofiber scaffolds for cell culture and application in regenerative medicine. Manipulated electrospinning parameters to determine ideal conditions which produced nanofibers that mimicked conditions of the extracellular matrix for cell adhesion during cell culture.
