I am an Italian architect with more than 6 years of experience in the Netherlands. Currently, I am working as an architect in the Das Studio at MVRDV.During my tenure at Space&Matter I was in the team of the winning proposal for the tender of kavel 19 in Buiksloterham. This project, known as Sample, allowed me to delve deeper into the topic of circular materials and explore the potential of mixed-use cities. Furthermore, I recently contributed to the second phase of the winning tender for Kavel 5 and 7 in Strandeiland. In this endeavor, I envisioned a future-proof mobility hub where unused parking spaces could be transformed into vibrant community areas, emphasizing the importance of adaptability and community engagement.Previously, as part of the Mla+ team, I contribute to the winning proposal for the Kop van de Singel competition in Schiedam's Stationsplein. This experience provided me with a comprehensive understanding of Dutch architecture regulations and construction processes, as I actively participated in various stages, from initial concept development to technical floor plans, elevations, and detailed drawings.Prior to my time at Mla+, I developed my skills as a junior architect at Zus. The diverse range of projects I worked on taught me to embrace change and adapt to different scales and scopes. I thrived in problem-solving situations that demanded unconventional approaches. Additionally, I explored innovative means of expressing architectural concepts through the utilization of various computer software and model techniques. A particularly fascinating aspect of my role was overseeing the 3D printing department, where I successfully produced over a hundred models for exhibitions, competitions, and research projects.From the beginning of my architectural career, I have been passionate about engaging in multidisciplinary design processes to tackle global challenges. While developing my master's thesis on water infrastructure in Chile, I devised an integrated system of architectural, industrial, and landscape elements to combat drought while highlighting the significance of water in the region. This experience ignited my ongoing dedication to addressing issues of obsolescence and reuse, which I continue to explore through my involvement with Dividual. Founded in 2020 with Maciej Wieczorkowski, Dividual has gained recognition being one of the four finalists in the 2022 Prix de Rome Architecture competition.
