- Main Groomer- Full grooming techniques consisting of bathing, drying, brushing, de-matting, nails, plucking and cleaning of ears, and desired cuts for all breeds of dogs and cats.- Attention to Detail- Compassion for dogs and cats, often they can get stressed out in unfamiliar situations, and as a groomer I need to understand this and treat them accordingly.-In addition to bathing and styling a pet’s fur, inspect the animal for any external signs of parasites, disease or injury and report their findings to owners.-Discuss styling and any issues or special services needed that day, whether medical or grooming related.-Give owners an overview of what was done to the pet, if there were any issues during grooming, or any findings (i.e. lumps, ear infections, fleas, temperament issues, etc).-Entering of all charges, grooming cards and reminder dates into electronic medical records.-Cleaning and disinfecting of all areas and equipment.-Keeping inventory and placing orders for all grooming products and equipment.-Created and trained scheduling techniques for more efficient scheduling.
