Serves as Battalion Director to the Commander of a Military Entrance Processing Battalion in the United States Military Entrance Processing Command responsible for the execution of supervisory control and continuum of operations in the interim of a Commander over the Mission Support Specialist and Program Support Specialist (referred to as BN civilian staff) who provide regional management and/or support services to multiple Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS).

Successfully lead a team of nine professionals composed of mid and supervisory level positions. Responsible for providing oversight of daily operations in multiple functional areas such as, technology, contracting, operations, planning, analytics, and logistics. Develop resources and tools widely used through the installation to enhance synchronization, awareness, efficiency, and programming. Provide direct support and guidance to senior leadership on business practices, program capabilities, resources, hiring practices, and installation statistics.

Served a as a tactical and strategic planner for the US Army Garrison. Provided operational support by tasking responsibilities to a multitude of functional areas and ensuring completion. Developed operational orders outlining scope, coordination, support requirements and purpose for large scale events, program implementations, trainings, and any other functional need by senior leadership. Analyzed program performance and conducted briefing’s for senior leadership on concerns as well as recommendations for improvement. Responsible for oversight and management of multiple data bases. Trained peers and directors on application use and department value of those data bases. Assisted senior leadership directly in formulating mission priorities and appropriate level of efforts.

Served as the single point of contact for ensuring that activities and programs remained aligned with laws, regulations, policies and applicable precedents. Implemented administration and management techniques by using my own judgement to select and apply analytical techniques to the work of developing evaluative criteria that result in the effective collection, accounting and reporting of program funds. Applied planning and evaluation and requirements analysis through collaboration across organizational boundaries while setting deadlines for the performance of studies focused on the collection and maintenance of up-to-date statistical data used in the building of detailed program plans. validated successful resolution of all deficiencies Installation, Fire/Facility/Safety Inspections; and Comprehensive Health/Sanitation Inspections. No finding or deficiency was to be reported as complete without myself in conjunction with the Garrison Commanders personal ‘Eyes On’ validation.
