Current• Working in a team-based fast-moving acute environment within the hospital • Able to completely manage a full patient load independently • Fully trained to work in emergency (including resuscitation and triage areas), cardiac surgery inpatient unit, cardiac medicine and vascular/urology surgery - Cardiac surgery (CABG, Valve surgery, TAVI, and Endocarditis) - Cardiology (Angiograms, Heart failure, NSTEMI, ICD/Pacemakers, dysrhythmias) - Vascular/Urology surgery (amputations, femoral bypass, skin grafts, nephrectomy) - Emergency (trauma, infections, strokes, seizures, syncope, bleeding, lacerations) • Quick recognition and skilled assessment in emergency resuscitation situations, practicing advanced cardiac life support, and preparing the patient for intubation and defibrillation • Performing thorough patient assessments, providing treatments, rhythm analysis, communicating with the interdisciplinary team and advocating for safe patient care• Collaborating with the healthcare team including physicians, social workers, physiotherapists, physician assistants, occupational therapists, and healthcare aids
