I am a mother and entrepreneur. And I wish there were more of us. That's why I've been active in the Association of German Women Entrepreneurs since 2021. The focus of the association is the exchange and discussion of the challenges that entrepreneurship brings. In doing so, we examine the problems that women in particular face as entrepreneurs, in management positions, and in the workplace.I am pleased that my personal experiences provide valuable perspectives on the challenges of successfully building a business, but also on balancing career and family.Particularly in conservative, previously male-dominated industries, it is important that we women give each other support and help each other to take off with our careers - even with families. This way, we also make a valuable contribution to the national economy, helping to meet the shortage of workers and the great need for well-trained specialists.
