I joined the Sound and Music Computing Group at INESC TEC for developing my master thesis project:"Rhythmic Compatibility for Music Mixing"Thesis project concerning the definition of a model for measuring the rhythmic compatibility of mixed audio signals. It involves music signal processing combined with MIR tools and it includes musicological studies of rhythm and its perception. The model is able to rank sixteenth note time shifts of one of the two inputs according to the defined measure of compatibility. It can be used not only in automatic music mixing but also for music recommendation or creation.
