Born in 1985, has achieved both Bachelor and Master degrees in "building engineering" at Politecnico di Milano, the last one in 2009. An extraordinary working experience in London has shaped the roots of his career: straight from University was employed as structural consultant for an architectural company in the beginning, for a engineering consultancy company then in Central London. Has frequently attended lectures organized at Istructe (istitute of structural engineers) and at the London Building Centre. On January 2011 has been recognized as an official graduate member of the Instutute. Has joined the family business, operating as a Project Manager and carrying on his consolidated activity as structural designer, mainly focusing on the specific field of the timber engineered constructions.Since 2014 he became also a freelancer offering to the market structural consultancy, service related to the building sector in general and operating in the energy consumption design area.In 2016 was asked by the Uniersity of Sapienza to join the Solar Decathlon team for the 2018 World Contest: he is official structural engineer leading the team in designing and constructing an hi-tech Solar house competing at the SDME18.Among a number of projects successfully accomplished the most relevant are: a multistorey restaturant in timber in Cebu, Philipphines (one of the most seismic area of the world); a luxury multiporpuse building in resort in Maldives; Wonderlad Catania an ambitious project in Sicily; the new school of Pieve Torina re-built after the destructive earthquake in 2016For the National Institution of Rules UNi he is part of three National Commitee:UNi CT 021 SC5 Timber structuresUNi CT 021 GL01 Design of structures in fire conditionUNi CT 011 Behavior of materials in fire conditionas national observer is also attending the european commitee CEN250/SC8/WG03: seismic behaviour of timber buildingsSkills: any use of engineering materials, wide knowledge of several software: Sap2000, Staad Pro, Prosap, Autocad, Photoshop, Sketch up pro, Microsoft Office.
