2G and 3G radio design and network optimization activities, concerning:- Wind 2G and 3G networks monitoring through KPIs analysis (NSN most, Ericsson): Metrica, Business Object, BMC Remedy, Mapinfo Professional, Optimi, Planet, Cedar.- Analysis and resolution of network issues related to factors as network accessibility and percentage of call drops.- Drive test conduction (Nemo Handy) and DT post analysis (Actix Analyzer) to reveal in-field network troubles.- Coverage analysis to identify new possible sites

GSM GPRS EDGE- Functional analysis of Siemens/NSN features for radio access network elements (BTS/BSC)- Formal test specification design for manual and automatic tests- Test plant configuration, test execution on real network- BTS feature test and software release at integration level- Customer support for in-field troubles- Interoperability sessions (IOT – IODT) management with other telecommunication vendors as Nokia, NXP, Marvell Electronics, Qualcomm, Aricent- Support to development department for error corrections and new features implementation - Definition of internal documentation- 3GPP international standards- Deep knowledge of GSM/EDGE network architecture and deployment- Um, Abis, A, Gb, Asub interfaces and their protocols- Used to deal with methodologies, processes and testing instruments (Tektronix K15 protocol analyzer, Agilent Monitor Viewer, R&S Signal Generator, R&S Signal and Spectrum Analyzer, Line Server Unit, SOFI Fading Simulator, Tems Investigation 7.0)- Planning and management of commissioning activities relating to the NSN’s GSM product at international level at the NSN’s new research and development centers (Finland).
