I have worked as a classroom teacher for the last 17 years. I have taught each elementary and middle school grades from KG to gr. 8. I have also co-organized and co-facilitated an annual dance event at the Rose Theatre in Brampton for students of DPCDSB. I have a love of learning new practices and innovative strategies to better support our youth. I have an additional specialist in Integration of Information and Computer Technology in Instruction. I have years of experience helping students with diverse needs and specialties. I have had the pleasure to mentor teach a variety of teacher candidates. I am a hardworking, meticulous, detail-oriented team player. I have great trouble shooting skills and am good at finding work arounds when necessary. I have an eye for detail, and I am good at thinking creatively. I am professional with colleagues, students, parents, volunteers, and supervisors. I am versatile and can pivot quickly when needed. I am a lifelong learner and am eager to implement new standards and practices into my daily practice.
