I strongly believe in the investigation of biological processes by using multidisciplinary approaches, in order to gain a better understanding of life sciences.My prior academic background in Mathematics has focused on statistical mathematics, image analysis, biomathematics, mathematical modelling, scientific computing, stochastic calculus and numerical analysis. During my PhD in Computational Biology I moved from theoretical work to a combination of theory and experiments. This enlarged and enhanced the knowledge of cell biology, biochemical techniques and microscopy.
