I am an optimistic critical thinker for which finding ways to improve is not only a professional pursuit, but also a pastime. Whether at work or at home, I consistently look for efficiencies and enhancement of available resources and situations. I'm a relational and analytical, and I love to learn. I enjoying getting the root of a problem, finding long-term solutions, and interacting with others about projects and challenges. Event planning, training and public speaking are enjoyable ways for me to organize, communicate and influence. I find great satisfaction in being able to support others in their efforts and in bringing new ideas to the table, and I believe that integrity is one of the most important values in the workplace. As a manager, I see each member of my team as a person who brings a unique set of strengths and talents, and I find it very rewarding to invest in each individual and in the the team culture. I believe it's my job to equip each member of my team with the resources they need, create an environment in which they can flourish and nurture the growing process while maintaining accountability and achieving the company's goals.

    As a manager at FundEasy, I lead the Customer Support and Success team, equipping and empowering our customers to use our software effectively. As a former customer and nonprofit worker, I know how vital nonprofit work is, and I know how many roles a nonprofit worker often has to juggle. I lead our team in providing excellent support which some say is like having an extra member on their staff. I collaborate with the FundEasy leadership team to help identify and execute company goals, hire/train new team members, assist with the creation and maintenance of a robust Knowledge Base and wide variety of customer resources, provide upper level support which involves, at times, a working knowledge of JavaScript and HTML, and review metrics with a focus on how to improve team performance. I consider support work, in particular, to be crucial to customer satisfaction and find helping others highly rewarding. I believe every customer base represents a wide range of personalities, technical ability, bandwidth and communication/learning styles and I enjoy the challenge of meeting each customer where they are and leading the way to success for whatever question they have or task they want to complete. Managing my team, my goal to identify the strengths of each member of my team and position them to excel and enjoy their work as much as possible. I like when members of my team speak up and show their own mind. I highly value hearing perspectives that I am unlikely to come to on my own. I appreciate, and seek to grow in, openness, honesty, compassion for others, asking questions, taking initiative, curiosity, humility, and receptiveness.
