  Currently, Andrea works to build and maintain a better Goldman Sachs by focusing on our most valuable asset: our people. As a Business Partner within Human Capital Management, Andrea helps senior leaders understand, adjust to, and adopt key initiatives that unlock the potential of our talent. She executes on leadership pipeline and performance processes, diversity and inclusion strategies, compensation and organizational design, as well as talent acquisition and engagement planning. Andrea also partners with functional colleagues to address complex work situations or employee concerns, drive transformational change, foster operational resilience, and enhance the overall health and wellness of employees. Prior to this role, Andrea was a Vice President within Goldman’s Alternative Investments and Manager Selection Group (“AIMS”) where she helped evaluate investments into third party firms across all asset classes, including private equity, real estate, and impact investing firms. Meeting with firms and clients directly, Andrea advised on industry best practices to mitigate reputational and regulatory risk while simultaneously optimizing valuation and accounting practices, transaction workflow processes, cybersecurity controls, and compliance policies and procedures. She worked cross-divisionally to develop assessment frameworks for various industry themes including jurisdictional exposures, alternative data usage, and emerging industries such as digital assets or cannabis. Previously, Andrea served as a Compliance Officer for the Real Estate Investing team and provided compliance advice and oversight to the Private Equity and Impact Investing teams within AIMS. In these roles, she participated in cross-divisional working groups and investment committees, drafted policies, considered ESG matters, and assisted in fund launches and other initiatives, as well as conducted various deep-dives to facilitate effective management.
