Viticus Group (VG) is a 97 year-old 501(c)(3) organization that proudly hosts one of the largest and most dynamic annual conferences in the Veterinary Industry. In addition to being a leader in the area of continuing education, VG offers 2 state-of-the-art campuses, with a total of 140K+ square feet of medical training and meeting space. VG is the largest free-standing hands-on animal and human education and training facility in the world. As CEO, I report to a board of directors and have executive and operational oversight over all facets of this unique organization. Oversees 120+ employees with 7 direct reports in a 293 bed comprehensive acute care hospital. Experience with the effective and efficient oversight of Surgical Services, Emergency Services, Cardiac Services, GI Services, Radiology Services, Plant Operations, Cardiac Rehab, Therapy Services, Acute Rehab, Volunteer Services, and CentRx Outpatient Pharmacy. Chief Staffing Officer (responsible for productivity excellence and premium pay reduction) and Executive Sponsor over CQI/Lean Initiatives, Business Development, Capital Management, and EMS growth. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with employees, physicians, and Community Partners. • Provide pediatricians, medical clinics, unions, public health entities and home health agencies an overview or training of disease state and medicines, dosing and administration, compliance, referrals and reimbursement.• Responsible for training physicians and staff on all aspects of a complex and highly specific injectable monoclonal antibody (Synagis) used to prevent RSV in high risk babies.• Responsible for educating and ultimately selling an intranasal flu vaccine (FluMist) to all new and existing accounts interested in providing flu vaccines to patients, employees, students, etc. – NV, AZ.• Responsible for having an extensive and accurate knowledge of local and national payors’ insurance coding, reimbursement and practice protocols for all related infectious disease products

• Promote specialty medications (Concerta, Flexeril 5mg) to Pediatricians, Psychiatrists and Neurologists• Creating a relationship with hundreds of clinicians and influencing their decision to prescribe medications.• Responsible for solely managing all aspects of multimillion dollar territory – NV, UT, AZ, CA• Responsible for developing and implementing managed care training module for west coast representatives.• Create unique and effective methods to educate physicians, nurses, residents & staff of products.

• Work in conjunction with all levels of UMC staff and administration to solve problems, complete projects, and develop tools to enhance and improve patient care.• Create a relationship with all major employers and unions, while marketing UMC services and physicians.• Develop numerous reference tools and training courses for employed physicians, nurses, and staff.• Act as the contact between all UMC departments and all managed care organizations.• Credential all 150 staff physicians with all contracted managed care carriers.
