I have a master's level education/training and am board certified as both a psychiatric and family nurse practitioner. I became a family nurse practitioner (FNP) in 2013 and have a wide array of experience, which includes primary care, urgent care, worker’s comp, occupational medicine, and outpatient/inpatient addiction medicine. I returned to Kent State University in 2018 and graduated in May 2020 with a post-master’s certificate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). As a PMHNP, I have extensive experience working with patients of all ages and varied backgrounds in an outpatient setting. Specifically, I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PSTD, OCD, insomnia, ADHD, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders, and substance use disorders. I consider myself a very open minded individual and accept patients of all shapes, sizes, colors, creeds, backgrounds, sexual/gender orientations, ethnicity, and anything else that makes you you.I am currently self-employed through Grow Therapy, and am in the midst of working to launch my very own practice, New Leaf Mental Health & Wellness, LLC.
