Over the past six years, I have served as the main Point of Contact for the development of the network and software infrastructure of the Ground Segment for the flight operations of LICIACube (APL DART) and ArgoMoon (NASA Artemis 1). During these projects, I designed and implemented features and tools that were directly utilized by my team and me to successfully conduct real-time flight operations.In addition to my technical contributions, I played a pivotal role as Ground Segment Controller for both ArgoMoon and LICIACube, acting as the interface between our Mission Control Center (MCC) and the operators at the Ground Stations used to communicate with the satellites. These responsibilities were both challenging and rewarding, providing me with the opportunity to develop into a skilled and qualified space flight operations professional.I am currently the principal technical lead and cybersecurity specialist for the development of Argotec’s Ground Segment. In this role, I coordinate my team in designing and implementing a reliable and secure software and hardware infrastructure for the Ground Segment of the IRIDE constellation. This ambitious high Earth orbit (HEO) project aims to capture detailed images of Italy, contributing to critical scientific and technological applications. It represents a highly stimulating challenge, providing me with the opportunity to experiment with cutting-edge technologies, strengthen my expertise in cybersecurity and space systems, and further solidify my experience in this fascinating field of aerospace engineering.
