In my present job with the Industrial Automation Team, I deal with the development of software solutions for the industrial sector.Through a mathematical modeling approach, I contribute to the definition, implementation and testing of complex algorithms for the optimization of production processes.In details, development of algorithms for navigation and control of self-driving vehicles in indoor environments, traffic management, obstacle avoidance and pattern recognition.I follow all the phases of realization of products, from technical and functional requirements collection, through design up to implementation and commissioning.Major projects have been carried out in logistic, painting, woodworking, pharmaceutical and food delivery sectors.

Development of software solutions for the industrial sector, study and formalization of process control algorithms through a physical-mathematical approach.In particular, realization of an innovative plant for laser hardening of metals for automotive sector.Analysis of the hardening process and implementation of the algorithms for plant management. Formalization and integration of the direct and inverse transformations for the management of an anthropomorphic robot with addition of supplementary axes.

As a member of the R&D and Applied Mathematics Team, I have contributed to the definition and realization of a prototype system for Surround Environment Recognition.Study, modeling and development of an automatic method for the 360° viewing and 3D reconstruction of the surrounding space for a vehicle equipped with 4 fish-eye cameras.Formalization of a model for image formation process and rectification for sh-eye images. Implementation in MATLAB of an algorithm for relative positioning estimation for a couple of fish-eye cameras and testing by means of synthetic datasets.
