I've worked on building a CCTV ALPR (automatic license plate recognition) system using python, openCV, and tensorflow. We fine-tuned a deeplearning model to extract the license plate portion of the picture and then we used a second model to perform the OCR on the extracted image. I've also worked on deploying a predictive maintenance model after helping the team in the data cleaning and model training steps. Moreover I've gained some experience in building a Knowledge graph using neo4j as graphDB, hugginface's models to extract entities from crawled news and sparql to add explicit facts from wikidata to the graph

i've worked on configuring some ingestion pipelines using Nifi, ambari hadoop, oozie and scala. My main role was to define Nifi flows to read from various sources (S3 buckets, ftp server, HDFS) and ingest these data inside HDFS.
