Special Projects - Africa, Business & Travel

During my time at CNBC Africa in Lagos, Nigeria I produced a segment titled Business Tonight West Africa, where it shows the best segments of that days coverage. I also contributed to curating top stories for another segment, Open Exchange West Africa. Other than that, I did vox hopping, asking Nigerians how the recession has affected their everyday living and businesses. Lastly, I produced a news package on how the health and fitness industry has affected Nigeria's economy and whether the boost in demand is a trend or not.

While at Complete Fashion Magazine, I was a contributing journalist. Not only was I a writer and also helped host their webcast series. Lastly, I had the opportunity to attend Falz The Bahd Guy's cover photo shoot.

Radio internship at the most popular station in State College. BTerns are required to come in two times a week for a morning shift and a night shift. Other than the shifts, BTerns are also required to attend remote broadcasts, on and off campus. BTerns get some air time, learn how to use the software, and manage the social media.

I acted as a photo journalist and blogger as I took pictures of the style of students on Penn State's campus and write articles about them. The website is a guide to help college students with their style but it is also used by those interested in the latest fashion.

I was the first intern at the time for the then up an coming magazine, Black Dance. I helped contribute to the magazine by assisting with the interviews and brainstorming ideas for the magazine. I also had the opportunity at such a tender age to write an article.
