I’m a journalist with marketing background who believes that content, in its many forms and shapes, is a powerful tool for communication, connection and transformation. In the last 20 years, I’ve been in working with lifestyle content, health content and sports content (editorial, branded and unbranded), in all platforms (print, digital and video). I am also deeply involved with outdoor sports in a personal level, having done trail ultramarathons, mountain bike expeditions, outrigger paddling and marathons. My life has always had a coat of sweat & a lust for challenges, and I love bringing that to my work. Inspiring people to live a healthier life through quality journalism fascinates and fulfills me. I’ve been responsible for launching in Brazil relevant editorial brands like Outside, Runner’s World, Bicycling and Women’s Health. In 2011 I also brought to Brazil one of the biggest film festivals of USA, Mountainfilm, which here has received the name Rocky Spirit. I’m the festival director for 12 years and also a part of the screening committee for Mountainfilm for the past 8 years. In all these projects, I’ve worked directly with big international companies in licensing, planning and management, honing the skill of mixing local and foreign contents and realities to find the Brazilian “voice” for each platform / product / problem.As executive director for Rocky Mountain Sports Content, I'm head of Outside and Hardcore platforms and work daily on projects that expand their reach and possibilities. I like to work with purpose, focus, creativity and solid information, striving to bring a positive impact to everyone that is touched by what we do. As the mother of little Malu, I'm having the opportunity to strengthen and renew my belief on the transformative power of nature, education and sports in our lives and our world.
