• Subject matter expert within the Risk Management – Independence Office, with a particular focus on, the processes and policies that result in the Firm’s Business Relationships Guidance, Inducements Policy, and Contractor Independence Policy. Recent accomplishments include: • Developed updated version the Firm’s Business Relationships Guidance,• Driving ongoing development of Firm’s Business Relationships Clearance Tool, which tracks and applies Firm guidance with respect to Business Relationships,• Developed Firm’s new Inducements Policy to comply with the new IESBA rules,• Driving ongoing development of new policy and process for tracking Contractor Independence. • Provided in depth analysis and guidance in order to ensure compliance with Firm Policy, SEC, PCAOB and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”) rules as it relates to Business Relationship issues throughout the Firm;• Drafted responses to the SEC’s request for comment on proposed amendments to Rule 2-01;• Participated in various working groups created to identify and update key processes and procedures to ensure both Firm Policy and Regulatory compliance.

• Conducted analyses of expenses of a Fortune 500 company in Bangalore, India to determine whether they were in compliance with the FCPA.• Led the Deloitte team that assisted a court Special Compliance Officer to conduct a review of the transactions of a Fortune 500 company’s compliance with the ITAR. This review covered multiple divisions of the company;• Conducted analytical investigations into various reserve accounts and an income tax receivable account for a Fortune 500 company in response to an investigation by the SEC. Analysis was a significant factor/tool used in court proceedings for the US Government and assisted the court in determining a settlement and penalty for the company;• Reviewed prime/subcontractors during the acquisition of a smaller company to confirm compliance with SEC and PCAOB requirements;• Advised non-profit organization as they identified an appropriate organizational structure and provided an estimate of the cost to establish the structure identified:• Calculated damages using both lost profit and restitution theories due to an alleged breach of contract by a Government agency. The damages calculated in this case represents one of the largest cases ever presented to the General Services Administration Board of Contract Appeals; and• Served as the internal PMO on a large Anti-Money Laundering Project (“AML”) project involving over 30 consultants in the financial services industry coordinating the activities for over 30 consultants by calculating bi-weekly invoices, reviewing documents and onboarding new employees.
