Its main customers are PFD, Bidvest, Coles, Metcash and Woolworths. I work within the Global Enterprise Solutions team. I was re-employed to assist the team with a backlog of work which once I got the team back up to date I was offered a contract position which has continued to be extended. I currently manage three of our major customers, PFD, Coles and Martin Brower aswell as assist the rest of the team as required.

I was asked to undertake another mat leave role, then was promoted to a permanent position. I process various accounts for 300 customers on JD Edwards, liaise with clients about payments and issues and chase up debtors.• Acted as Senior Credit Officer assisting the National Credit Manager, Accounts Payables Manager and other team members such as Sales Representatives and Logistics.• Assisted on a project to streamline the credit process. I engaged with the National Inventory Controller, State Inventory Controllers and Accounts Receivable Team Leader. The changes improved the speed of customer payments.• Processed a range of payments. This included and involved:- Daily identification and preparation of direct deposit and cheque payments.- Receipt and distribution of claims to relevant departments for investigation and authorisation.- Customer account reconciliation and follow-up of outstanding invoices and claims.- Creating accurate customer notes and information.- Identification and preparation of foreign currency direct deposit and payment allocations (NZD and USD).- Assessments of credit worthiness of new applications using credit reporting tools.- Authorisation of daily releases of orders once accounts were paid • Chased up debtors by telephone and email.• Investigated and resolved customer queries.• Assisted with month- and year-end reporting.
