As Head of Product Management Antennas&Cables I am responsible for the product strategy (market survey, competitors analysis, new products ideas identifying and proposals) and for the results (profitability) of these product lines. I report to the CEO of our Group; I co-ordinate a team of italian and asian/south-american people that are managing offer phase (feasability and evaluation), and then the Project Management of the on going projects with the customers (italian/french/german/indian/chinese/south-american); we are responsible infront of the customers for timing and performances of the product, inside the company for the costs of the product and development.

Directly reporting to CEO I co-operate in evaluating new market opportunities and defining and harmonizing the overall product strategy of the group.I support the other functions in management group communication and advertising.

As Product Manager Audio-amplifiers and other Infotainment-electronics products for Automotive I am responsible for the product strategy and for the results (profitability) of this product line. I report to the CEO of our Group; I co-ordinate a team of german people that are managing offer phase (feasability and evaluation), and then the Project Management of the on going projects with the customers (italian and german); we are responsible infront of the customers for timing and performances of the product, inside the company for the costs of the product and development.

I have been responsible for the R&D Antennas and Coax-Cable of the ASK Group (reporting to the CEO), composed by 5 different departments and around 30 people. We have improved the development process, updated and increased the development and test-tools and started several projects and pre-development that have definitely contributed to the increase of the business.

ASK Group supplies audio-systems (amplifier, loudspeakers, integrated sound-system) and reception systems (antennas and HF cables) to the european car-manufacturers.I have been responsible for the german market of antennas and HF-cables (reporting to the Sales Director); by mean of new orders, controlling of the profitability of the products, and marketing of innovative or new products I have brought the company inside the german car-makers like VW, SKODA, SEAT, Daimler and Suzuki .

Magneti Marelli Powertrain Systems develops and manufactures engine control systems (injectors, throttle bodies and the related Electronic Control Units), exhaust systems and Selespeed gearbox systems (hydraulic and electric too). As a a member of the sales area ‘Italy’ with FIAT Auto as client, I have managed the sales-relationship (offers, negotiations, contingent delivery problems, budgeting and reporting) with FIAT for some engine-programs (for income per year of about 90 billions Lit).

I have been Project Manager for the electronics products (like sirens, immobilisers, keyless entries, volumetric protection with ultra-sound or microwave, parking systems) designed for the automotive customers. I have managed directly the contacts with car manufacturers (like Volkswagen Group, Daimler-Chrysler Group) for the development of the OE First Tier Products and with other companies (like Magneti Marelli, TRW, ...) for the OE Second Tier Products.

Till 1997 as member of Project Management Team I have planned and controlled the processes and costs of the products (switching exchanges) through all phases from the design to the delivery to the customer. Then from 1998 as leader of the Program and Project Management (2 people) of the Access Networks Business Unit I have managed the product-plans (access systems for telecommunications networks), the allocation of the resources and the development plans involving Siemens AG – Munich (partner at that time of Italtel).
