About Andrea Gelvin

I taught the courses in the Health Science/Health Careers program at Hutchison High School in Fairbanks Alaska from 1996-2011. After retirement I am focusing on health science curriculum development and mentoring for rural Alaskan schools. I am a Lead Medic and Fire Fighter at a local fire department. Being semi-retired and more flexible, I also teach CPR & First Aid classes and various levels of EMS classes around the state.Specialties: Curriculum development for the Health Science career cluster. Liaison between health education and health delivery boards.
