In vitro and in vivo propagation of mosses for green roofs applications.

Research Associate, 2012-2022Research Assistant, 2008-2012Member of the National Scientific Researcher career (CONICET) since April 2009.I studied the biology of microorganisms at both the molecular and cellular levels to develop novel strategies to improve the diagnosis of infectious diseases and the molecular typing of pathogenic bacteria. I carried out studies on molecular diagnostic and typing of Campylobacter fetus, and as part of collaborative projects, I also worked with Mycobacterium spp. including MAC, MTC, and NTM. The description of the host-pathogen interphase to find potential target molecules for the development of preventive strategies represented a main topic of interest in my research.

I assisted the professor in charge of the Biology 2 course with lesson planning, coursework, virtual classroom management, and developing innovative teaching materials by incorporating TICs. Mentored students to prepare Seminars in groups. I was in charge of the practical classes in the laboratory classroom. I supervised other teaching laboratory assistants. I contributed to establishing a stimulating learning environment through TICs.

Part-time and voluntary position held during lockdown. Sample processing for RNA extraction. Disposal of materials safely and storage of samples under strict laboratory regulations. Laboratory stock control. Assistance with the National electronic record system to store and manage patient data. These samples helped to the SARS-Cov2 national consortium of genomics to track SARS-Cov2 infection under the PAIS Project, granted by the Agencia Nacional de la Promoción de la Investigación, el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación del Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación, Argentina.

As a member of the Paratuberculosis team (Institute of Biotechnology, INTA), I studied the adhesines of M. avium subsp. paratuberculosis and evaluated the immunogenicity of recombinant proteins. I also participated in studies that involved different animal models to test the virulence of mycobacteria.
