I began my journey in Human Resources over 15 years ago when the HR Director at the Villas of Grand Cypress saw my avid interest and desire to become a part of the HR team, even though my experience at the time was initially as a Front Desk Agent and later as a Sales Administrative Assistant. I wanted to expand my knowledge of the company and to help my fellow employees. I learned about benefits, workman's comp, PTO, FMLA and payroll. I felt like a true resource for the employees there. I made sure that they knew they could come to me with issues or questions and I would find the resolution or answer for them. I addressed employee insurance bills and coverage questions, as well as questions regarding paychecks.When I moved over to my most recent position at Buena Vista Suites, I came with a full HR toolbox and assisted my manager to create more streamlined processes for our department, focusing on positions and duties. I was also able to expand my knowledge relating to payroll related tasks and assisted with payroll processing. Always eager to learn new skills, I supervised the on-site gift shop which involved creating schedules, overseeing and controlling inventory and general overview of the team.I am a multi-faceted HR professional, excited for my new venture with TLC Engineering Solutions.
