Product Lead on VA's Veteran-facing Services Platform contract. Lead 11 Product Managers in building out great resources for teams building on VA.gov.

Work with a diverse range of development teams to bring valuable features to our self-storage management software. Collect and synthesize ideas from clients and stakeholders and translate that into requirements and acceptance criteria. Clearly communicate those requirements, including UX, to the development team.

- Identify bugs in functionality, design, security, and performance- Test and assure that the product going out to the client is of the highest quality

- Create, claim, and verify Google and Bing listings for clients - Audit listings to ensure that clients’ Google, Bing, and Yelp listings are optimized - Follow blogs and discussion boards to keep up on the latest updates and local SEO trends - Provide support and solutions for clients via email and phone - Work with Google and Bing customer service departments to get issues resolved

I write content, marketing material and blogs for StorageAhead.com and Rednovalabs.com. I also write SEO-friendly content for client websites. When I first arrived here, I helped audit all our clients' websites updating the content to boost SEO.

I wrote and edited news and features about the veterinary industry. The audience was veterinarians, practice managers, receptionists and technicians. I wrote for the web, Firstline magazine, Veterinary Economics and DVM360 newsmagzine. I coded the interactive elements for our iPad app using HTML, Dreamweaver and InDesign. Our app was nominated for several awards. I also updated our social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and Google+ using Hootesuite.
