One of my many passions is sustainable living and environmental conservation. I have always been an outdoor enthusiast–hiking, biking, skiing, rock climbing, etc.–and the minute I learned I could make a career out of protecting it, I was in! A love for this planet and a desire to preserve and protect its waters, flora, fauna, human inhabitants and essential natural resources is what drove me into my field of work. I am an Environmental Engineer In Training (EIT) with plans to pursue Professional Engineering licensure. In industry, my work is primarily in civil hydraulic systems design and wastewater treatment. I currently assist with on-site process engineering, operations and maintenance management, and discharge compliance for a wastewater treatment plant that is part of a Superfund site clean-up effort and have past experience in wastewater treatment plant commissioning, engineering oversight for civil construction, and client relations.As an engineer, I strive to make a positive and lasting difference by utilizing my fierce work ethic and drive and, most importantly, through collaboration with others to build upon old ideas and create new ones along the way.
