Andrea J Sawyer, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, PCMH CCE is the Director of Ambulatory Quality Services with Orlando Health Medical Group and was previously the Clinical Operations Manager dedicated to the primary care service line. She also worked as a Practice Administrator for GYN Oncology with AdventHealth Central Florida.Before relocating to Orlando, FL, Andrea served the Memphis, TN community for 20 years at Regional One Health as a Practice Manager, Nurse Recruiter, Staffing Coordinator and a Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse.Andrea completed an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing at Southwest Tennessee Community College in 2000. She continued her education by completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The University of Memphis, a Masters of Nursing-Leadership and Management at Walden University and a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Quality & Patient Safety at University of Alabama-Birmingham. She holds a Nurse Executive, Advanced certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and a Patient Centered Medical Home Content Expert certification from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).Andrea has served as a preceptor and an advisor for various committees including the Developmental Care Committee with the NICU and the Nurse Residency Board with Patient Care Services. She received recognition during Celebrate Nursing 2009 and volunteers her time through several community service programs.
